The Enfield Dementia Action Alliance is an independent partnership of public, private and voluntary sector organisations who have agreed to work together to support those living with dementia by raising awareness amongst organisations and communities and how they can help.

To become part of the Enfield Dementia Action Alliance, we have pledged to do the following:

  • Help raise awareness about dementia by continuing to provide ‘Dementia Friends’ information awareness sessions to Healthwatch Enfield staff, board members and volunteers on an annual basis,
  • Ensure that Healthwatch Enfield is represented at the Enfield Dementia Action Alliance steering group meetings,
  • To continue providing an information and signposting service to people living with dementia and their carers, family and friends to ensure they are able to utilise support available to them,
  • To monitor the services we visit via our statutory Enter and View work with the needs of people living with dementia in mind and make recommendations to improve their overall experience.

"We are proud that Healthwatch Enfield has become part of the Enfield Dementia Action Alliance and look forward to working with our local partners to ensure that individuals in Enfield living with dementia get the best support possible, alongside their carers, family and friends"

Fazilla Amide, Acting Chief Executive, Healthwatch Enfield

More information on how local organisations can become part of the Enfield Dementia Action Alliance can be found on their website.
