Staff changes at Healthwatch Enfield

Working for Healthwatch Enfield is good for your career! Two of our team are moving on to new roles. We are really pleased that they will both continue to work with health and care services, one locally and one nationally.

Patricia Mecinska – our Chief Executive (recently seconded to North Middlesex University Hospital) has now accepted a role at the hospital. We are pleased that her energy and enthusiasm will continue to be available to local residents.

Fazilla Amide – our acting Chief Executive (previously our community and engagement manager) has accepted a post with NHS England, where she will be able to share her experience and knowledge about learning disability at a national level.

We are really sorry that they are leaving, they have both made a powerful impact on our organisation and introduced new systems and approaches as well as bringing an enthusiasm for our mission. We are pleased that they will both continue to work towards placing patients and residents at the heart of service delivery and planning.

Healthwatch Enfield has been working hard over recent months to ensure that the voice of local residents and patients informs the wide range of changes being put in place to deal with the challenge of Coronavirus. In order to continue to work at pace, our Deputy Chair, Noelle Skivington has volunteered to lead the organisation and our fantastic and hard working team with support from our volunteers, whilst we take stock of next steps. Noelle will start in the new role from 1st September. We are very grateful to Noelle for giving up even more of her time to support our work.
