We are recruiting for the post of  Community Outreach, Research and Events Co-ordinator (Full time/Flexible).

Healthwatch Enfield acts as the statutory, independent consumer champion for health and social care services in the borough. We’re here to amplify the voices of local people and to help them navigate the complex systems of health and social care.

Everything we say and do is informed by our connections with Enfield’s residents. A key focus of Healthwatch Enfield is on understanding the needs, experiences and concerns of people, who use services, so that we can speak out on their behalf in order to seek improvements in services.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and values-driven individual to join a small team currently operating from our offices in North London. You will be responsible for enhancing community engagement whilst also ensuring we achieve the highest possible positive public profile through outreach activities. Obtaining local residents’ views is vital, therefore, expect spending the majority of your time out and about listening to people: getting their opinions on services and collating their feedback.

The role will also give you the opportunity to manage our Community Volunteers’ function and engage with research projects that can receive national recognition.

For the right candidate, we offer a stimulating work environment, career development opportunities, and the reward of undertaking tasks to bring about positive improvements to statutory services such as GPs, hospitals, care homes or mental health services to name a few. Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, free car parking, free eye tests and flexible working.

If you want to harness your passion to make a difference to people’s lives, then apply now to join our team of like-minded individuals!

The post is subject to satisfactory references and DBS check.
