Here at Healthwatch Enfield, collecting and listening to patient feedback about local services is at the heart of what we do. We want to find out about what motivates you to share your opinions and views and how we can make it easier for you to share your opinions and views on health and social care services.

We all make decisions every day about simple tasks such as what supermarket to visit, what TV show to watch or what restaurant to visit for a special occasion. We often rely on other people’s experiences and views to help us make this decision – was the food good or bad? Was the TV show funny? Were the prices competitive?

Sharing your views and opinions helps both the shop, restaurant or service improve your experience, and helps other people like you choose where they want to go, what they want to eat or what to watch on TV.

The same applies for health and social care services. Other people’s experiences can help guide someone who is looking at what GP practice to register with, what hospital to have their baby at or what care home they should choose for their mum to live in. Was there a long wait for appointments? Was the care they received good? Was the home nice and homey?

We want to hear more about your experiences of sharing your views and opinions so that we can gain a better understanding of how we can encourage you to share your experiences of health and social care services and how we can make it as easy as possible for you to do so.
