Do you have personal experience of cancer as a patient or carer?

Would you like to help shape cancer services across North Central London?

Would you like to get involved in driving improvements in early diagnosis, patient experience, and personalised cancer care outcomes?

Be a strong voice for patients

You could become part of a strong collective voice for cancer patients across North Central London. The Patient and User Involvement Group ensures patient or carer representation in the development of local Cancer Alliance programmes and in projects to meaningfully improve patients’ experience of care.

The North Central London Cancer Alliance want to ensure that the group is representative of our local geography and the populations served. They welcome applications from people who have received or are having cancer treatment at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Whittington Health NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

You can decide on your level of involvement, depending on what else is keeping you busy. There will be opportunities to participate in events virtually and in person (when circumstances allow) and to contribute your views via email, surveys and other feedback methods.

By joining today, you can play an important role in making sure that everyone can access high-quality cancer services across North Central London.

If you are interested in applying to be a patient/carer representative please email janet.athey@nhs.net to find out more.
