About this event

This event has been organised for you as local residents of Enfield to engage directly with a panel of senior leaders from Barnet, Enfield and Haringey’s Mental Health team and the Director of Education and Senior Educational Psychologist for Social and Emotional Mental Health from the Local Authority, to hear about what support is being provided for the children and young people of Enfield and how we can all support their mental health and wellbeing.

Don’t miss your chance to put questions to Enfield Council and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust.

During this virtual, online meeting, we’re providing a unique opportunity to hear from senior leaders as they continue to plan provision for children and young people’s mental health and for the return to school and college in September and beyond:

• Jackie Liveras, MD Enfield Mental Health Services

• Thandie Matambanadzo, MD Enfield Community Services

• Nicholas Clarke, Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Enfield CAMHS Clinical Lead

• Clive Blackwood, Senior Service Lead, Enfield CAMHs and Children’s services

• Peter Nathan, Director of Education, Enfield Council

• Dr Emma Gore-Langton, Senior Educational Psychologist for SEMH, Enfield Council

You may well have questions you’d like answered such as, what support is available for children and young people, as well as their parents, around mental health, now and in the longer term; what plans are being taken to support and prepare them to go back to school/college and how are schools and colleges being supported to help the children and young people of Enfield deal with some of the past and ongoing challenges that the Coronavirus pandemic has caused.

Whatever your questions, please detail these as you log on to book your place, or email us (admin@healthwatchenfield.co.uk) or call us (020 8373 6283) by Monday 10th August.
