Where we are in the community: come and say hello…

Healthwatch Enfield has been actively engaging with the local community through a variety of events and initiatives. Here's a recap of our recent engagement activities...

Community Stalls: Healthwatch Enfield set up stalls at Edmonton Green Library, North Middlesex Hospital, and GRTBS Coffee and Cake at Fore Street Library to connect with residents, provide information about our services, and gather feedback on their health and social care experiences.

Joining external events: In collaboration with MindUK, we participated in Mental Health Awareness Week by raising awareness about mental health issues and encouraging people to seek support if needed.

Healthwatch Enfield representatives attended the "faith forum" and the "London Winter Preparedness meeting" to network with other organisations, share information about our work, and collaborate on initiatives to address community needs.

Healthy Hearts Events: We partnered with Rumi Mosque and iCan Tea and Chatter to organise a breakfast and blood pressure testing event, providing a platform for community members to connect, receive health information, and get their blood pressure checked.

Preparing for Community Connector Training

Healthwatch Enfield is committed to empowering community members to become active participants in shaping their health and social care services. To achieve this, we train Community Connectors in hypertension. In collaboration with us, they will represent their community's interests and advocate for positive change.
